Cancellation Policy

Cryoablation procedures typically require days or weeks of careful planning and coordination between our office, you, and the imaging center.  Special medical instrumentation is also prepared for each individual procedure.  In addition, many of our cryoablation patients travel to us from out of state which requires coordination of travel and special arrangements for work and/or childcare.  As a result, in most cases it is impossible to fill a cancelled or rescheduled appointment.

We take pride in the appropriate reservation of your procedural date and time! Our priority is to schedule procedures that can be attended to with the utmost of care. Therefore, please understand the importance of respecting our Cancellation Policy.

At the time of booking the procedure, you will be require to submit a deposit to secure your appointment and complete a Cancellation Policy document which may be completed online.

The cancellation policy will require you to agree to the following:  

1. We require a deposit to reserve a date for your cryoablation procedure. The deposit may be made with a credit card, wire transfer, cashier’s check (to Better Options Breast Care, Inc.), or cash (e.g., Zelle).  The deposit will be deducted from the balance due for your procedure.


2. A cancellation fee will be charged for a cryoablation procedure cancelled or rescheduled within 30 days of the original scheduled date. This means that your deposit will not be refunded.


3. In the event of a verifiable emergency or illness, your cancellation fee may be applied to a rescheduled appointment.


4. Your deposit will be refunded to you in full if additional work-up after you’ve already submitted your deposit determines that you are not a candidate for cryoablation .
